Pantheon civilizations, gods and booty tiles
In Pantheon there are eight different civilization, of which only six are used during each game. The characteristics of the civilizations are as follows:
Each player may either draw two cards face down immediately or uncover a god tile from the stack. To acquire this card the player must be able to make the highest level sacrifice. This action opens a small window where the appropriate action can be selected:
All players adjusts their cards on hand to seven cards, ie if > 7 make up to 7. If > 7 discard down to 7 cards.
The player has nine cards. They must therefore discard two cards. Select cards in the action window until the correct number of cards are displayed.
Each player may exchange any number of their own feet/columns against column/feet from the bank stock.

The special gold card stack is rearranged, i.e. the large values are at the top and smaller at bottom.
Each player receives two gold to spend immediately. These can be used as per the purchase rules. Gold cards in hand cannot be used.
Each player may take a sacrifice tile stage I or upgrade an existing tile to the next level.
Similar to the purchase action, select the desired sacrifice tile, or selects the next higher level from existing.
Each player receives two cards from the draw pile.
Bonus and Booty Tiles
Bonus tiles (square), each player receives one at the start of the game.
Booty tiles (hexagonal) are placed on the board during the preparation phase of each epoch.
The Bonus and Booty tiles work the same way.
These items are gained from the bank. Given a choice click on the desired item.
You will receive either two columns or or two feet from the stock.
During the preparation of the era, for each booty tile, a demigod tile is placed from the stack and located on the board (5). Any player selecting one of these booty tiles, receives the highest demigod from this area.
If you received a demi-god tile as a starting bonus, you get a random demi-god of value 1-3 points from the stack.
Receive a god tile from the stack. Also receive the epoch god tile victory points.
Bonus tile only: After the preparation of the first epoch, the player must immediately place a column from the general supply on the board.
Take a level I sacrifice tile or upgrade an existing sacrifice tile to the next level.
Take two sacrifice tiles of Level I or take 2 levels of upgrade on an existing tile.

Throughout the game you may take one or two additional movement steps. Tiles are cumulative.
Gods tiles can be obtained in the following ways:
- Taking the corresponding initial bonus tile at the start of the game
- By booty tiles from the game board
- By the action "acquire god tiles"
- Via the deity Surparit (see below)
Reminder: Yellow god tiles pay out immediately once, blue tiles can use their advantage for the whole game.
Here is the listing of the god tiles in the game and their awards:
It immediately provides another god tile plate from the stack. If it is another Surparit, then there is no more tile given.
For every up Plaesiris god tile, two demi-god tiles are revealed and placed in area (5). When a player acquires Plaesiris, he receives the two highest value demi-god tiles.
He Plaesiris is provided via god tile Surparit or bonus tile, then two random demi-god tiles are taken from the stack.
This provides the top special gold card from the stack. Once used it is then discarded.
The player receives two cards from the draw pile at the end of the preparation phase during each epoch.
An additional movement point is available during each "movement" action. Several Vinthrads can add up. Vinthrad can also be used without playing cards.
During a movement action you can jump over an occupied by the enemy space once . It may be:
- started from the temple
- diagonal jump
- Jump to a square occupied (as usual it will cost two steps)
- jump over a doubly occupied space
- cannot jump over an empty space
With several Gailviles one can jump several times, but never more than one scape at a time.
Stonkus lets you can spend an additional one or two gold with every purchase. Stonkus acts cumulatively. You can also use him even if you have no money cards.
Draw one extra card when you use the action "Draw cards".
Pietalte can only be acquired via sacrifice cards , ie sacrifice tiles cannot be used! You must have 3 cards of one type, 2 of another type and 1 of yet another.
For each Pietalte during the scoring phase an additional score equal to the highest level reached with your sacrifice tiles.
An example with 2 Pietalte if you have for example a Level IV sacrifice tile would score 4 x 2 = 8 points.
Traitera is a hybrid: Although it is not played immediately, it can be used to take an additional action. This can be used like any other action..
