The Brettspielwelt Meetup at Freusburg

This year, our joint live meetup will of course take place again, this time at the beautiful Freusburg Youth Hostel. Freusburg was first mentioned by name in 913 and officially recorded in 1048. The beautiful castle complex with its medieval charm is located in the Siegtal valley.

Date

From July 29–August 2, 2026, we’ll be storming Freusburg for 5 days of gaming, chatting, and lots of fun.

So be sure to join us—we look forward to seeing you.

Registration

Non-binding pre-registration is available here, and we’d appreciate it if you’d sign up so we can plan everything better.

A user who must be logged in to the website can register themselves and 3 additional people for this event. Except for the person registering, none of the other people need to be registered here. The names you provide there will be printed on buttons. In the form, you can select one of the various sleeping arrangements for each person individually. You can also choose between arriving on Wednesday (staying until Sunday) and arriving on Friday (staying until Sunday). (If you have specific arrival and departure dates in mind, please contact us personally)

Prices

We receive full board from Freusburg and charge the following prices per day and person:

  1. Shared room: 55.00 euros
  2. Double room: 62.00 euros
  3. Single room: 67.00 euros

In addition, given the unfortunately limited number of single and double rooms, we give priority to those who will occupy the room for the entire 4 days.

Games and Beverages

There are no games at the castle; you must bring your own. Please label them with your name, as some are often left behind and get mixed up. We ask every participant to treat other people’s games as if they were their own. Please make sure to return the games in their entirety.

Drinks can be purchased on site (we buy them directly from the castle). Each participant automatically pays €10.00 for drinks as part of the accommodation fee. This amount will then be adjusted based on actual consumption when settling the bill on Sunday.

We would also like to place a group order for T-shirts and mugs for the meetup. So take a look and let me know what you’d like.
