Buyers and Master Builders is an expansion to Carcassonne. Here the expansions of the rules are described. The rules of the base game can be found directly under Carcassonne. There are 24 new tiles. Players have also received a pig and a master builder. You can also combine the first expansion and/or the river with it.
The master builder (far right) can be placed on a street or in a town where you already have at least one of your own figures. Each time you expand this street or city you get an extra turn. More than two turns in a row is not possible. However, you may place the master builder again in the second turn (for example, if the street or city is completed in the first turn you get the master builder back on your hands and may place it again immediately).
The pig is placed on a meadow where you already have at least one farmer of your own. If at the end of the game you have the majority on this meadow you get 4 instead of 3 points for each city on this meadow. Note: pigs from other players do not give you a bonus.
Some new city maps show merchandise. There are three types of merchandise. The player who completes the city gets these commodities. He gets all the merchandise regardless of whether he has a figure of his own. At the end of the game, the player with the most merchandise of a type gets an extra 10 points.
