Object of the Game

The aim is, by laying tiles with values from 1 to 6, to make sequences of value 10, 11 or 12, as only these values yield points. Whoever has the most points at the end of the game wins.

Game Board

Spielfeld
  1. Played by the Blue player
  2. Tiles to choose from (to be selected)
  3. Scoreboard (just received points (4))

Flow of the game

The player whose turn it is draws two pieces in the bag and places them on the board by the following rules. The goal is to get points for tiles placed, which we mark on the scoreboard.

  • All tiles must be linked with already placed tiles side by side (except for the starting tile in the middle).
  • A line with a total of 13 or more is not allowed.
  • You can make a line of 9 points or less, however, they will not score.
  • If possible, you must always place your tiles on the board, even if they do not score (see exceptions below).
  • You may place your tiles either in the same line or different lines.
  • You may only place a tile on a light-coloured square if you are able to form a 10, an 11 or a 12 with this tile or with both tiles together.

Exceptions

  • If a player can play only one or neither of the pieces he has drawn, he holds on to the remaining stones until his next turn. In the next round, he checks if he has two or more pieces before him, and if he can play them. If he can play them, he can not draw and must play in turn with his tiles. If there is only one tile in front of him or if he can not play one of two or more tiles before him, he draws a tile. He played his turn as described above, until he can no longer play the remaining tiles.
  • If you are not able to place a tile on a black square, you must place it on a light-coloured square, even if this does not earn you any points. In this case, you may not score.

Scoring

Rules for scoring:

  • Each player scores for any tiles played that round.
  • Scores are recorded in each line without any blank lines.
  • For a line with a total of 10, you get 1 point; for 11, you get 2 points; and for 12, you get 4 points.
  • Your score is placed in the score sheet for each round.
  • You can play lines with a total of less than 10, but they do not score any points.
  • If you play a tile on a white square on the board, you must form a line of 10, 11 or 12, either with the tile placed (or a group of 2 tiles) on the white square (this scores double points). It is possible to score two “x2” crosses in a single turn
  • If you score more than one set of points during your turn (for example two 12s), you will score 2 times these points. (For example, 2 x 4 points = 8 points).
  • For rows on the scoring sheet in which all three columns – the 10s, 11s and 12s – are filled in, the player receives the bonus points indicated on the sheet. If there is any entry missing, he does not get a bonus.
  • If the row also contains a cross in the “x2” column, all the points noted in this row count double – regardless of whether the row is completed or not.
  • If, at the end of the game, a player still has tiles in front of him on the table, the total of all of their dots are noted as negative points.

End of the Game

The game is over when a player draws the last tile out of the bag. He finishes his turn as usual (even if he only has drawn one tile so that he only can place this one on the table).
