In the 15th century, the Belgian Hanseatic city of Bruges is one of the wealthiest metropolises in Europe. The first stock exchange opens its doors and all of Europe turns its eyes on the prospering trading city.

The players take o the roles of merachants who maintain good relationships with those in power in the city. They compete for influence, power and status.

But the quiet may be deceptive. Dramatic events are looming and the opponents also threaten your own influence. Who will be the winner in this exciting struggle for power and riches?
