The second extension of Carcassonne adds another piece to the Carcassonne family. In addition to 24 carts, the builder and the pig also come new. In some districts there are now raw materials that the player gets, who closes the city. At the end of the game, you get ten bonus points per raw material if you have the most of them. The builder allows a double train when you expand your own city or road in/on which it stands. With the pig on your own meadow, you get four instead of three points per city.

You can of course play the new extension with the river, the first extension or both. The big-growing field is characterized by a new zoom, which always finds the place where it's going round.
